Course Description
Entry Requirements
To qualify for entry to the Postgraduate
Diploma in Management (18 credit points),
applicants normally must:
- Have completed three years of a recognized undergraduate degree or equivalent in field of
economics, commerce, business, accounting, law and related
areas; or
- have at least three years of experience in
the banking and financial services
industry; and
- have appropriate resources to facilitate ready access to the
Internet (check this by visiting our Technical
Page);
and
- have ready access to a personal e-mail address; and
- have the skills required to access and manipulate materials
delivered electronically.
Persons meeting the above
requirements will be required to complete eighteen
credit points of approved study to be awarded Postgraduate Diploma in
Islamic Management
(PGDIM).
To qualify for entry to the
Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Management (6 credit points), applicants normally
must:

have Completed CeIB/ CeIIA/ CeIIP program
offered by IIIBF; and
-
have appropriate resources to
facilitate ready access to the Internet (check this by visiting our
Technical
Page);
-
have ready access to a personal
e-mail address; and
-
have the skills required to access
and manipulate materials delivered electronically.
Persons meeting the above requirements will be required to
complete six credit points of approved study to be awarded Postgraduate
Diploma in Islamic Management (PGDIM).
Recommended Enrollment Pattern
Normally, students must complete the units in
the sequence in which they appear in the following table of
description of units. Level I must be completed before a
student moves on to Level II. Level II must be completed before a
student moves on to Level III. A student must complete
- ALL 6 credit points from Level I
- Minimum of 6 credit points from Level II
- ALL 6 credit points from Level III
Note: DM1 (Islamic Business Ethics) and DM2
(Islamic Management) must be completed before enrolment before DM3 (Research
Issues in Islamic Business and Management) and DM4 (Supervised Project - III)
