  3. �Quantum of Damages in Islamic Insurance (Takaful): An Islamic approach in Global Context�, has been presented (discussion was made by someone on behalf of the author due to his absence) at the WEA International�s 75th Annual Conference which was held in Vancouver, Canada on June 29 � July 3, 2000.
  4. A presentation was made as a keynote speaker on �Islamic insurance: theories, practices and prospects in Bangladesh� which was organized by the Bangladesh Insurance Academy in Dhaka on 14 February 2000.
